Meet Mr. Steven R. Burch
Steven is the President/Owner of Burch Investments. Prior to founding the firm, Steven spent five years with BB&T, first as a stock broker and then as Vice President and Regional Sales Manager for BB&T Investment Services. In 2005, he moved to BB&T's Wealth Management division, which serves the top 1% of its clientele, as Senior Vice President/Group Director for the state of Florida. Steven's accomplishments at BB&T include managing wealth management advisors, associates, financial planners, trust specialists, financial analysts and team directors throughout the state of Florida. He was responsible for sales, budgeting, new offices and regional development.
As an entrepreneur, Steven founded EnviroMed Inc. in 1991. The company specialized in environmental compliance monitoring for hospitals. Steven designed operations and procedures and facilitated start-up. He initiated the marketing and sales functions, negotiated government contracts with the Army, Navy, and V.A., and established preferred vendor status with the federal government. Under his direction the company maintained 95% contract retention for all its customers. Steven directed the merger of EnvironMed and Enviro-Guard in 1997, establishing the largest consulting firm of its kind in the medical arena. Steven also founded Burch/Sarge Inc. d/b/a SSI in 1991.
Steven received his Bachelor of Business Administration from Campbell University in 1991. He holds series 6, 63, 66 (Investment Advisor), 7 (Broker) and 24 (Principal) licenses.
